Bon Jovi's Son Wins Spot on Notre Dame Football Team

Could we be seeing Jon Bon Jovi's son playing for the Giants or Jets in the next few years? Jesse Bongiovi is on his way, as the Jersey rocker's son has made Notre Dame's football team as a walk on player, according to Fox News. The 5'9, 183 pound Bongiovi will play cornerback for the Fighting Irish.

For those who think Bongiovi made the team because of his famous dad, Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly assured everyone that he earned the spot.

“Jesse has earned his spot on the (roster),” Kelly told CSNchicago.com. “He’s a tough kid.  The kids really like him. They respect him. They don’t look at him as a rock star’s son. They look at him as a kid that loves Notre Dame and wants to play football and help this team.”
